Commentary
While the new rules seem to increase the anxiety of students initially because they cannot see how to navigate them, this feeling is very natural. It is okay to feel anxious initially. It’s important to know that often the government will issue more documents clarifying how the new rules are to be implemented. It is also important to note that certified immigrant consultants who work closely with immigration will have more chances to get more information and seek greater clarification on areas of uncertainty. In the video one student mentioned calling immigration and still being uncertain of what to do. In such scenarios it is a good idea to work with a reputable and trust consultant who can help you get the answers you desire.
We encourage all international students to keep a positive outlook because you’ve come this far. Seek as much help as you need to gain clarity on your course of action.
